This locally produced course is designed to teach the techniques of CPR for choking adults, children and infants, and the use of the AED to lay rescuers who are expected to respond to emergencies in the workplaces. In addition to hands-on practice in the skills of CPR and the use of AED, this RCSA course also includes the use of barrier devices and pocket masks and how to activate the emergency services. CPR skills are significantly useful to bridge the gap between sudden cardiac arrest and the arrival of advanced medical interventions.
First-responders in the workplace, health and fitness staff and trainers, teachers, lifeguards, swimming teachers, carers for babies, the frail and aged, security personnel, law enforcement officers, firefighters, remote workers, youth, the unemployed, informal traders, NGO volunteer workers, entrepreneurs etc.
Also recommended for remote workers in the event of a medical emergency when the in-office first aider is not available (Click here for the ILO recommendations, specifically pages 18-21, linked to prevention and reducing incidences of exposure and spreading of the Covid-19 virus.)
