COVID-19: Awareness For Workplaces & Everyone | Bio-Hazzards (FREE)
Purpose Of This Course
COVID-19 regulatory compliance training, as directed by legislation, is continuously amended and structured to ensure awareness of new facts and measures to ensure safety against the biohazzard Covid-19 virus for the protection of all stakeholders in workplaces and spaces where people work and gather. The course fills the gaps on COVID-19 awareness and preparation. In workplaces, a valid, current certificate of training attendance must be issued to DEL inspectors who have the right to shut down a workplace due to non-compliance with the COVID-19 directives.

The information shared in COVID-19 training is not just important and applicable to workplaces but also to institutions such as churches, conference centres, education institutions, hospitality industry hotels and b&b’s, restaurants, beauty places and spas. It is also critically important to be shared in the homes that we live in with our loved ones.
Target Market
Leadership and senior management teams of companies and organisations eg churches, event management spaces etc as strategic decisions around biohazzard and serious risk and disaster management decisions must be taken at the highest level, The course is also highly recommended as part of a H&S career-choice and entrepreneurship model for unemployed youth, women, community volunteer-NGO workers and anyone interested in health, safety, and saving lives.
Training Methodology and Philosophy
A foundation of mentorship, raising awareness, respect and vigilance for health, safety, security and protection of spaces and places where people live, work, meet and gather.

Latest Remote-Work-From-Home & COVID-19 Directives Impacting Employees Safety
It is highly recommended that employers ensure that all staff who work off – site are trained in first-responder eg. First Aid & Fire-Fighting Level 1 as a minimum, in case of an injury ‘on duty’ in the absence of ‘traditional, on-site first responders’ when medical emergencies arise out of office. This recommendation is supported by the ILO’s ‘An employers’ guide on working from home in response to the outbreak of COVID-19′ (for quick reference to health and safety for remote workers, refer to page 19,20 and 21 ).
